Obituary of Bertha B. Green
OCALA, FL - Bertha B. Green, 86 of 29 Spring Loop, Ocala, Florida formerly of the Little Falls-Inghams Mills area passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2007 in Ocala, FL.
She was born on August 25, 1920 in Little Falls the daughter of the late Morris and Lulu (Daley) Radley. She was a graduate of Little Falls High School class of 1938 and was also a graduate of the Utica School of Commerce Class of 1940.
She was united in marriage to her husband of 65 years Robert E. Green on November 1, 1941 at the Inghams Mills Baptist Church.
She was a past member of the Auskerada Chapter # 204, O.E.S., Dolgeville.
Mrs. Green was employed at onetime by the former Cherry - Burrell Corp, Little Falls in the Personnel Dept. and later in the Bookkeeping Dept. of the former Little Falls National Bank. She was last employed in that same capacity by the former Alexander & Alexander Insurance Co., Little Falls retiring in 1978.
In 1988 she and her husband Robert relocated to Florida where they have since resided.
She is survived by her husband Robert, a son James R Green, Cedar Rapids, Iowa and a daughter Janet Levenworth and her husband Raymond, Pomona Park, Florida, 6 grandchildren Scott Green, Sean Green, Gregg Rockwell, Keith Rockwell, Scott Rockwell and Raymond Levenworth, 3 great grandchildren Kristin and Reese Rockwell and Amanda Green and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 2 sisters Harriet Tidmarsh and Bessie Fohey.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at 10:00 am from the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls with Pastor Gertrude Ortlieb of the Inghams Mills Baptist Church officiating. Interment will take place in Rural Park Cemetery, Inghams Mills later in the spring.
Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home on Monday, March 26, 2007 from 5-8 pm and to attend the funeral services Tuesday morning.
