Obituary of Christine (Tina) J. Costello
LITTLE FALLS Christine (Tina) J. Costello, 87 a life long resident of Little Falls passed away Friday, December 24, 2010 at St. Elizabeths Medical Center, Utica. She has been a resident of the Alpine Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Little Falls since 2008, prior to that she resided at Valley View Courts, Little Falls for many years.
She was born on February 11, 1923 in Little Falls the daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Ulrich) Dudik. She was educated in Little Falls schools.
On November 12, 1949 she was united in marriage to her husband of 45 years Robert R. Costello at St. Marys Church, Little Falls. Mr. Costello predeceased her on May 21, 1995.
Mrs. Costello was a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Little Falls. She was an avid card player and especially enjoyed her weekly card partys with her many friends over the years.
She was employed at onetime in the Assembly Dept. of the former H.P. Snyder Mfg., Co, Little Falls.
Surviving are her two daughters Trudy Costello Kaye, Little Falls and Karen Costello Talaba and her husband Samuel, Little Falls, her three sisters Mary Talaba, Little Falls, Dorothy Frederick, North Myrtle Beach, SC and Mildred Dudik, Mohawk, her brother John Dudik and his wife Laverne, Dolgeville, her beloved and adored grandchildren "the lights of her life" Robert Squire Kaye, Little Falls and Ashley Kristina Kaye, Little Falls and her two god daughters Paulette Talaba Ferraro, Penfield, NY, Ellen Talaba Fuller, Hawaii and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers Michael Dudik, and Samuel Dudik and by five sisters Margaret Dudik, Susan Sadlon, Katherine Frank, Elizabeth Ashe and Anna Dudik.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place in Holy Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in the spring.
Arrangements are by the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls. There are no calling hours.
