Obituary of Edith K. Walrath

Edith K. Walrath LITTLE FALLS - Edith K. Walrath, 84 formerly of 550 E. John St., (Rockton Plaza), Little Falls and since January of 2002 a resident of Valley Health Services, Herkimer passed away Monday, December 15, 2003 at that residence. She was born on September 12, 1919 in Little Falls the daughter of the late DeWitt and Satie (Corp) Phillips. She attended Little Falls High School. She was married at onetime to Robert E. Walrath of Little Falls. She was a very active member of St. Paul's Universalist Church, Little Falls and the Unitarian Universalist Women of that church. Mrs. Walrath was employed for 20 years as a LPN at Little Falls Hospital retiring in 1984. She is survived by her son Robert A. Walrath and his wife Ann Marie, Little Falls, 2 daughters Donna Vaughan and her husband David, Herkimer and Kathleen Feeter and her husband David, Brockport, her brother DeWitt Phillips, Johnstown, 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter Linda Walrath, who died on July 20, 2003. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family from the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls. Interment will take place in Rural Park Cemetery, Inghams Mills in the spring. There are no calling hours. It is the wish of the family that contributions in memory of Mrs. Walrath be considered to the St. Paul's Universalist Church Memorial Fund, 565 Albany Street, Little Falls, NY 13365. Envelopes are also available at the funeral home for this purpose.
