Obituary of Ruth I. Grauman

Ruth I. Grauman HERKIMER - Ruth I. Grauman, 85 formerly of Inghams Mills and of the Midtown Apts., Herkimer and more recent of the Folts Home, Herkimer passed away Friday, May 30, 2003 at that residence. She was born on September 24, 1917 in Little Falls the daughter of the late William and Florence (Leavitt) Eaker. She was educated in Dolgeville Schools. She was united in marriage to Roy M. Grauman on April 10, 1937 at the First Baptist Church Parsonage, Little Falls. Mr. Grauman predeceased her on June 9, 1990. Mrs. Grauman was a member of the Inghams Mills Baptist Church. As well as a member of the Auskerada Chapter # 204, OES, Dolgeville. She is survived by her daughter and son in law Carol and Frank Compolo, Sr., East Herkimer, her grandson Dr. Frank W. Compolo, Jr., Syracuse, 2 sisters in law Hazel Eaker, and Jessie Eaker, both of Herkimer and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by 3 brothers Clarence Eaker, who died in 1966, Justus Eaker, who died in 1986 and Arthur Eaker, who died in 2001 and by 3 sisters Esther Mae Mang, who died in 1999, Olga Hughes, who died in 2000 and Jane Doxtader, who died in 2000. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2003 at 11:00 am from the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls with Rev. David Oretel, Chaplain of the Folts Home, Herkimer officiating. Interment will take place in Rural Park Cemetery, Inghams Mills. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 3, 2003 from 9-11 am and to attend the funeral services to follow It is the wish of the family that contributions in memory of Mrs. Grauman be considered to the Inghams Mills Baptist Church, Inghams Mills Rd, Little Falls, NY 13365 or the Folts Home, 104 N.
