Obituary of John P. Hayes
LITTLE FALLS - John P. Hayes, 64 of 296 Willie Lane (Kyser Lake) Little Falls passed away at unexpectedly on Monday, January 6, 2003.
He was born December 1, 1938 in Little Falls the son of the late Daniel and Elizabeth (Sheppard) Hayes. He was educated in Little Falls Schools.
Mr. Hayes was a veteran serving in the US Army. Entering the service on April 20, 1957 in Little Falls. He stationed at Fort Dix, New Jersey until he was honorably discharged as a Sergeant on June 30, 1970.
He was of the Catholic Faith. Mr. Hayes was a member of the Little Falls American Legion Post # 31.
He was employed for many years as an assembler at the former H.P. Snyder Mfg. Co. Little Falls.
He is survived by 4 brothers Daniel J. Hayes Jr., Syracuse, David P. Hayes and wife Josephine, Florida, Bernard W. Hayes and wife Bonnie, Amsterdam and Eugene R. Hayes, New York City, 3 sisters Dorothy M. Bubencik, Schuyler Lake, Mary E. Hayes, Little Falls and Elizabeth J. Finer and husband Robert, Nevado, California. He was predeceased by a brother Leonard F. Hayes, who died in 1999.
Funeral services for Mr. Hayes will be held at the convenience of the family in the spring. Interment will take place at the Gerald B.H. Solomon-Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, NY.
Arrangements are by the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls. There are no calling hours.
