Obituary of Jean M. Barlow

UNIONVILLE, ONTARIO, CANADA - Jean M. Barlow, age 90 formerly of 519 E. Monroe St., Little Falls and more recent of 34 Swansea Road, Unionville, Ontario, Canada peacefully passed into the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, April 16, 2007 at the Markham-Stouffville Hospital, Markham, Ontario. She was born on December 4, 1916 in Molesworth, Ontario, Canada the daughter of the late James and Jane (Elliott) Sangster. She was educated in Canadian schools. She was united in marriage to her husband of 48 years Dr. John C. Barlow on April 4, 1942 in Wroxeter, Ontario, Canada. Dr. Barlow predeceased her on October 17, 1990. Mrs. Barlow was a former member of the First Baptist Church, Little Falls and currently a member of the Markham Bible Chapel, Markham, Ontario. For several years while residing in Little Falls she was a volunteer at Little Falls Hospital. She is survived by 2 daughters Ruth McClure and her husband David, Markham, Ontario, Canada, and Phyllis Barlow, Utica, 4 grandchildren Lisa Johnson and her husband Al, Speculator, NY, Aaron McClure and his wife Tammy, St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada, Lori Driscoll and her husband Terry, Northville, NY and David Wood, Utica, 10 great grandchildren Shaun and Derek Versteeg, Ruth and Daniel Johnson, Jacob Wood, Kelly and Kaitlyn Driscoll, Jamie Baker, Keenan and Aiden Wood. Mrs. Barlow was also looking forward to the birth of her 11th great grandchild in the coming months. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2007 at 10:00 am from the First Baptist Church, 555 E. Albany St., Little Falls with the Rev. Donald L. Dixon, Pastor Emeritus of the First Baptist Church, Little Falls and the Rev. Dawes Dunham, Pastor of the First Baptist Church, East Stroudsburg, PA officiating. Interment will take place in Rural Park Cemetery, Inghams Mills. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann St., Little Falls on Friday, April 20, 2007 from 5-8 pm and to attend the funeral services Saturday morning. Memorial services will be held on Sunday, May 6, 2007 at the Markham Bible Chapel, Markham, Ontario It is the wish of the family that contributions in memory of Mrs. Barlow be considered to the First Baptist Church, 555 E. Albany St., Little Falls, NY 13365. Envelopes are also available at the funeral home for this purpose.
