Obituary of Leonard W. Miller
LITTLE FALLS - Leonard W. Miller, 75 of State Route 5, Little Falls (Town of Manheim) passed away unexpectedly Sunday, November 4, 2007 at his residence.
He was born on November 30, 1931 in the Town of Salisbury, the son of the late Leonard F. and Helen (Ganger) Miller. He was a graduate of Oppenheim - Ephrata Central Schools class of 1950.
Mr. Miller was a veteran of the Korean War, serving with the US Air Force. Entering the service on April 30, 1951 in Syracuse serving with the 322nd Strategic Recognizance Squadron. He was honorably discharged as an Airman First Class on July 14, 1958.
He was a member of the Herkimer County Humane Society and numerous animal rights organizations.
Mr. Miller was employed for many years as a machinist for the Remington Arms Co., Ilion.
He is survived by 2 sisters Marjorie Decker and her husband Richard, Schuyler and Joanne Hotaling and her husband Carson, Little Falls and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Gerald Miller in 1958.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place in Rural Park Cemetery, Inghams Mills.
Arrangements are by the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls, NY. There are no calling hours.
