Helen M. Miller
LITTLE FALLS - Helen M. Miller, 90 of 8129 State Route 5, Little Falls passed away unexpectedly Friday, June 13, 2003 at her residence.
She was born on September 21, 1912 in Salisbury Corners the daughter of the late William and Pearl E. (Gage) Ganger. She was a graduate of Dolgeville High School Class of 1930.
She was united in marriage to Leonard Miller on April 23, 1931 at the United Methodist Church Parsonage, Little Falls. Mr. Miller predeceased her on June 17, 1966.
Mrs. Miller a member of the First Baptist Church, Little Falls and of the Women's Christian Fellowship of that church. She enjoyed Christian reading and crocheting and loved animals and is most remember for her love and devotion to her family.
Mrs. Miller along with her husband operated a dairy farm on Dolge Ave., Ext., in the Town of Oppenheim for many years. After her husband passing in 1966 she moved to her current residence. She was employed for several years as a nurse's aide at Little Falls Hospital and later as a clerk for the former Papa's Glove Factory Outlet on Ann St., Little Falls. Retiring in 1982.
She is survived by her son Leonard W. Miller, Little Falls with whom she resided, 2 daughters Marjorie Decker and her husband Richard, Schuyler and JoAnne Hotaling and her husband Carson, Little Falls, 4 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was predeceased by a son Gerald Miller, who died in 1958.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 16, 2003 at 11:00 am from the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls with Rev. Donald L. Dixon, Pastor of the First Baptist Church officiating. Interment will take place in Rural Park Cemetery, Inghams Mills.
Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home on Monday, June 16, 2003 from 9 - 11 am and to attend the funeral services to follow.
It is the wish of the family that contributions in memory of Mrs. Miller be considered to the Mohawk Valley Christian Academy, 156 W. Monroe St., Little Falls, NY 13365. Envelopes are also available at the funeral home for this purpose.
