Obituary of Anne P. Pendergrass

Anne P. Pendergrass Print This Page MOHAWK - Anne P. Pendergrass, 82 formerly of 1162 State Route 5S, (Jacksonburg), Mohawk passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center, Utica. She was born on March 4, 1924 in Little Falls the daughter of the late John and Anna (Jakubec) Pribish. She was a graduate of Little Falls High School Class of 1941. She was united in marriage to her husband of 34 years Calvin E. Pendergrass on May 24, 1952 at the United Methodist Church Parsonage, Little Falls. Mr. Pendergrass predeceased her on January 23, 1986. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Herkimer-Little Falls. As well as a former member Rebecca Lodge, Little Falls and the Rock City Chapter, AARP, Little Falls. Mrs. Pendergrass was employed for many years at various dress factories in the valley. She was last employed as a machine operator for the Dufold Co., Mohawk retiring in 1986. She was survived by 2 sons Robert S. Pendergrass and his wife Elizabeth, Mohawk and Roger E. Pendergrass, Mohawk, 4 grandchildren Calvin M., Leah M., Kyle and Todd Pendergrass and 3 step grandchildren Jeremy E. Etienne, Sean and Brooke Daugherty and several nieces and nephews.. She was predeceased by 2 brothers John and Stephen Pribish. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 2, 2006 at 10:00 am from the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls. Interment will take place in Salisbury Rural Cemetery, Town of Salisbury. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home on Thursday, June 1, 2006 from 5-8 pm and to attend the funeral services Friday morning. In lieu of flowers it is the wish of the family that contributions in memory of Mrs. Pendergrass be considered to the Community Animal Program (CAP), c/o 15 Jackson St., Little Falls, NY 13365 or to Helping Animals Live Organization (HALO), c/o 72 N. Ann St., Little Falls, NY 13365 Envelopes are also available at the funeral home for this purpose.
