Francis T. (Bud) Reardon
LITTLE FALLS - Francis T. (Bud) Reardon, 83 formerly of Falls Courts Apartments, Little Falls and since July of 2000 a resident of the Van Allen Nursing Home, Little Falls passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2005 at that residence.
He was born on July 14, 1922 in Little Falls the son of the late Daniel V. and Catherine F. (Gorman) Reardon. He was a graduate of St. Mary's Academy, Little Falls class of 1939.
He was a veteran of World War II serving with the US Army. He entered the service on September 29, 1942. He served with the 143rd Infantry in the European theater. He was honorably discharged on January 30, 1946.
He was a member of the Holy Family Parish of Little Falls. As well as a member of the American Legion Post # 31, Little Falls, and the S/Sgt. Steve Stefula Post # 4612, VFW, Little Falls.
Mr. Reardon was employed for many years as a store room clerk for the former UNIVAC Corp., having served in their Utica, Chicago, California and Houston offices. Retiring from the Houston office and returning to Little Falls where he has since resided.
He is survived by his brother Patrick A. Reardon, Little Falls, his sister in law Florence Reardon, Mohawk and several nieces, nephews, cousins and grand nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Daniel Reardon, who died on February 22, 2004 and by a sister in law Jean Reardon, who died on March 29, 2005.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2005 at 11:00 am from the Holy Family Parish Church, Cor. Main & John St's, Little Falls where a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Anthony Ligato. Interment will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery, Town of Herkimer.
Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls on Friday, October 14, 2005 from 5-7 pm and to attend the funeral services Saturday morning.
