Obituary of Marilyn R. Reed

Marilyn R. Reed LITTLE FALLS - Marilyn R. Reed, 68 formerly of the Homestead Trailer Park, Town of Danube and since January 22, 1998 a resident of the Masonic Home, Utica passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2003 at that residence. She was born on September 11, 1934 in Syracuse the daughter of the Late George and Marie Carver Harrod. She was educated in Little Falls Schools. She was united in marriage to Donald Reed on April 12, 1954. She was later married to James Maddaloni, who predecesed her on July 6, 1996 Ms. Reed was employed as a Nurse's Aide for the Herkimer County Hospice, Herkimer and prior to her hospice work she was employed by the Herkimer County Public Health Dept. She is survived by 2 sons Rick Reed and Lucy Burgard, Lee Center and Gerry Reed, Rome, a daughter Sandra Holliday and her husband Wayne, Little Falls, 2 brothers Gerald Harrod and his wife Wanda, Little Falls and Joseph Harrod, Oneida, a grandson Christopher Holliday, Little Falls and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2003 at 1:00 pm from the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls Interment will take place in Rural Park Cemetery, Inghams Mills. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home on Saturday, May 17, 2003 from 11:00 - 1:00 and to attend the funeral services to follow. It is the wish of the family that contributions in memory of Ms. Reed be considered to the Little Falls Hospital, 140 Burwell Street, Little Falls, NY 13365.
