Charles G. Reynolds
Little Falls- Charles G. Reynolds, 84 of 760 East Monroe Street, Valley View Courts, Little Falls passed away Sunday, February 16, 2003 at the Little Falls Hospital.
He was born on May 7, 1918 in Little Falls the son of the late Fred and Edna (Conrad) Reynolds. He was a graduate of Little Falls High School class of 1938.
He was united in marriage to his wife of 60 years the former Elizabeth Kling on November 18, 1942 at Camp Wheeler, Georgia.
Mr. Reynolds is a US Army veteran. Entering the service April 18,1941 in Albany. He served with the 184th Army Ground Forces Band. He was then honorably discharged in December 15, 1945 at Fort Dix, New Jersey.
He was employed as a Expeditor at the former H.P. Snyder Mfg. Co. Little Falls, until his retirement in 1980. He served many of the various theaters in the valley as a projectionist for several years. Mr. Reynolds also is a past member of the Little Falls Military Band and played with numerous dance bands in the area.
He is survived by if wife Elizabeth Reynolds, 3 nieces Barbara Conner and her husband John, Paula Temple and her husband David both of Hummelstown, PA and Cheryl Sitterly and her husband Mark of Irmo, SC, one great niece Alyssa Ehrenreich of Gainesville, FL, one nephew Michael Conner and his wife Tina of Harrisburg, PA, and one cousin Ruth Van Slyke and her husband Robert of Ft. Plain.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday evening February 18, 2003 at 7:00 pm from the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc. 42 N. Ann Street Little Falls with the Vicar James Paulson of the Christ Lutheran Church , Little Falls officiating. Interment will take place in Ames Cemetery, Ames, NY later this spring.
Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls on Tuesday, February 18, 2003 at 4-7 pm and to attend the funeral service immediately to follow at 7:00 pm.
