Obituary of Robert F. Ough

Robert F. Ough LITTLE FALLS- Robert F. Ough, 80 of 328 Top Notch Road, Little Falls passed away Friday, July 4, 2003 at St. Luke's Memorial Hospital, New Hartford. He was born on September 17, 1922 in Cherry Valley the son of the late Webster and Nettie (Grantier) Ough. He was educated in the Cherry Valley and Van Hornsville schools and graduated from Owen D. Young High School Class of 1939. He was united in marriage to former Mary R. Culk on September 6, 1947 in St. Mary's Parish House, Little Falls. Mr. Ough assisted his father in the operation of the family dairy farm in the town of Fairfield until his fathers passing in 1953. He hauled milk in cans to the Dolgeville Co-op. He worked in local factories and paper mills. Mr. Ough and his family also owned and operated a dairy farm on Top Notch Rd in the town of Little Falls for the past 49 years. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Mary R. Ough and 2 sons Robert Ough, Little Falls and Richard Ough, Dolgeville, a sister Marguerite Burke, Orlando, FL. and 2 sister-in-laws Harriet C. Budny, Poland, OH. and Clare Ough, Winter Haven, FL. and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brother Webster J. Ough who died in 1999. Graveside services will be held at Mountain View Memorial Gardens, Town of Little Falls at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls. There are no calling hours.
