J. Christopher Snowman
SALISBURY CENTER - J. Christopher Snowman 39 of 2610 State Route 29, Salisbury Center passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2006 as a result of injuries sustained in a logging accident.
He was born on November 10, 1966 in Gloversville, NY the son of Mark and Judith (Christman) Snowman, Stratford. He was educated in Stratford and Dolgeville Schools.
He was united in marriage to the former Roxane L. Cramer on September 19, 1998 at the Dolgeville United Methodist Church.
Chris was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, snowmobileing and being in the woods and mostly spending time with his family.
Chris was the operator of Snowman's Excavating and Firewood, Salisbury.
He is survived by his mother and father Mark and Judith Snowman, Stratford, his wife Roxane Cramer-Snowman, 2 sons Christopher Michael Cramer-Snowman and Brendan Cramer-Snowman, a daughter Laikyn Raine Cramer-Snowman all at home, his maternal grandmother Reta Christman, Stratford, his paternal grandmother Leona Snowman, Maine, 2 brothers David Eric Snowman, Syracuse and Mark Earl Snowman, Jr., Rochester, 2 sisters Christine Marie Snowman, Schenectady and Carrie Lynn Snowman, Stratford, his mother and father in law Harlene Cramer and Robert Darling, Salisbury Center, his uncle David Christman and his wife Jan, Salisbury and many other aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather James Christman, his paternal grandparents, Preston Snowman and Richard and Eleanor Schuyler
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2006 at 10:00 am from the Lighthouse Baptist Church, State Route 29A, Stratford with the Rev. Martin Smith, Pastor officiating. Interment will take place in Salisbury Rural Cemetery, Town of Salisbury in the spring.
Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls on Friday, March 17, 2006 from 5-8 pm and to attend the funeral services Saturday morning.
