Obituary of Stanley Maksymicz,

SALIBURY / HERKIMER Stanley Maksymicz, 88 formerly of the House Hill Road, Town of Salisbury and more recent of 105 Protection Ave., Herkimer passed away Friday, January 20, 2012 at Little Falls Hospital. He was born on December 7, 1923 in the Town of Salisbury the son of the late Steven and Alice (Tymchshyn) Maksymicz. He was educated in Salisbury and Little Falls schools. On April 27, 1947 he was united in marriage to the former Susan Adamek in Newark Valley, NY. Mr. Maksymicz was employed as a assembly and drill operator for the former Pettibone Corp., Rome. Retiring in 1985 after 30 years of service to the company. He is survived by his daughters Arlene Maksymicz, Wooster, Ohio, Betty Gering (Lee), Rochester, NY and Kathy Ellen Maksymicz, Wooster, Ohio, two grandsons Scott and Jonathan and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Michael Maksymicz in 1980 and Peter Maksymicz in 1994 and his sister Anna Okrekpie in 1996. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at 4:00 pm from the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls with the Rev. Joseph Famulare, Little Falls officiating. Interment will take place in St. Marys Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, Town of Herkimer in the spring. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 from 2-4 pm and to attend the funeral services to follow.
