Dearest Liz,
How well we remember you both,... first you, Liz, and then as you met and were courted by your precious Ralph. We were so sorry to read of Ralph's death and you have been on our hearts since. How blessed we were to view your beautiful wedding and to witness the joy of God's goodness in bringing the two of you together. We send our love and continued prayers that the Presence of Jesus would deeply comfort you during this time... Ann and Bruce

Uncle Ralph's passing leaves such a void in so many lives. He touched so many lives with his kindness, generosity and humor. Any day, or part of a day, was made better if with Uncle Ralph. We can all learn from his life example and strive to show the same qualities that made his life so special. He had character and was a character. Never will he be forgotten. Love, joe and Mary Ann

Karen, Gary, Sue, Wayne, Kevin and Loren I am sorry to learn of you father's passing. He was a wonderful family man and a good Christian. It was the time spent with your family that helped awaken my faith. He was a good friend to our family and I will always remember him and your Mom. May God be with you during this time of sorrow. Patty and I would see Ralph and Elizabeth during their trips to visit Robert and Diane MacMillan when they still lived in Alaska. More than likely we would meet for dinner and listen to the truly amazing experiences Ralph would share. Although I had known Ralph led a Christian life, I did not know until now he was actually a minister. Now it is clear why, when he spoke you never doubted it was so. Ralph on every occasion (upon request) would highlight his trip north with a demonstration showing he could still do a handstand at any age.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Elizabeth, the MacMillan and the Horender families. Ralph made our lives brighter and will never be forgotten.

I only met Br. Ralph once at Bowen's Mill but have heard about him for decades from my Dad and Mom, Fred and Catherine Vanderhoof. How wonderful the Lord is that my Dad was able to be there for Br. Ralph's 'promotion to glory.' What a legacy and Christian testimony he leaves.

To the Horender family: I have been blessed by God through your family and words can't rightly express the impact you have had on my life. Ralph's kindness was a direct reflection of Christ's love in him, and I was a happy recipient of that light shining out of him. Hold fast to the hope that is ours in Christ. Peace be with you. With love, Chad

Your father's smile is etched into my memory forever. I can see him in his greenhouse and garden quietly attending to the plants in the same way he attended to his family and friends. In my life I have had several role models and he is one of them.
Love,
Tom Stock.

It was an honor to have Ralph's love in our family's life for the past 17 years. We are sad to see him go but feel blessed to celebrate a life well lived. Ralph was a remarkable man who was friendly and kind to everyone he met. He was a hero to his country and a blessing to his family and community. His sparkly blues eyes, contagious laugh and ever ready bear hugs will be missed.

To the family of a special brother in the Lord. I always appreciated his great smile and laugh. He enjoyed life and his family. It has been a while since I got to see him but have prayed for him recently when I heard he had health issues. In the past 10 years both of my parents have passed on the Heaven. I was most aware of the Peace of the Lord upon me after each loss. I attribute this to the prayers of others. I pray that this same peace will be felt by each of his family and friends. Betty Jean

To all of the Horender family: My thoughts and prayers are with all of you with the passing of "Uncle Ralph". What a wonderful accomplished loving life he had. I know that Joe will be so happy to "see" Uncle Ralph in the place in the sky. Joe so enjoyed him and thought so much of him. I too was honored to know Uncle Ralph, not enough, but enough to know what a special person he was. Cherish the memories. Love sent your way.

May you all feel peace at this time of transition. Ralph was a good man and he and Kay were a big part of my younger years. A wonderful support to my parents, we all spent many hours around the kitchen table (and around the pool table I might add). Good thoughts to all of the Horender family, thoughts of remembrance and joy. Gail

We are so sorry to hear about Ralph. It is very difficult to lose someone you love, especially a father. Now is the time to rely on Jehovah God as 2 Corinthians 4:7 says he will give us the strength needed to go on. His help won't take away the hurt but it will make life bearable. Love the Taylor's
