Obituary of Carolyn H Bullock-Smith
DOLGEVILLE – Carolyn H. Bullock-Smith, 69 of East State Street, Dolgeville passed away Thursday, June 8, 2017 at St. Luke’s Medical Center, New Hartford, NY.
She was born on June 29, 1947 in Little Falls, NY the daughter of the late Everett H. and Helen Johnson. She was educated at Stratford High School.
A loving and caring woman who liked to joke around Carolyn enjoyed family gatherings and holiday dinners, crafts, cake decorating, gardening, making the rounds going to flea markets and garage sales, taking long rides in the car and attending area church suppers and was well known for being very organized.
She was employed for many years by the former Daniel Green Co., Dolgeville and later for the Gehring-Tricot Co., Dolgeville retiring due to ill health and became a stay at home mom for her children and step children.
She is survived by her loving companion of 35 years Floyd (Johnny) Smith, Dolgeville, her sons, Jerry Bullock (Angie), Nelliston, Richard Bullock (Trish), Johnstown, her step sons, Timothy Smith (Ellen) and William Smith, Kentucky, step daughters, Tammy Smith (Manda), Kentucky and Sherry Gross (Mike), Salisbury, her brother , Timothy Johnson (Linda), Salisbury, her sisters, Ruth Edick, Salisbury, Juanita Belcher (Richard Cool), Dolgeville, Pamela Jaquay (Jim Santiago), Dolgeville, Sheree Herringshaw (Frank), Dolgeville and Michele Mowers (Gary), Salisbury, her step mother, Evelyn Johnson, Stratford, several grandchildren, one great grandson Theodore and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Roger Johnson in 1994 and Everett D. Johnson in 2011 and by a sister Margaret Dunham in 2008.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at 11:00 am from the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls, NY with Pastor Kenneth Allen, officiating. Interment will take place in Salisbury Rural Cemetery, Town Salisbury.
Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 from 9-11am and to attend the funeral services to follow.
