Obituary of Kathy L Klock
LITTLE FALLS – Kathy L. Klock, 65 of State Route 167, Little Falls, NY passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on May 24, 1952 in Herkimer, NY the daughter of the late Charles Warmuth and the late Beulah (Lynch) Saltsman. She was educated in Little Falls schools and attended Herkimer County BOCES where she received her Certified Nurse’s Aide certification.
On August 27, 1971 she was united in marriage to her husband of 29 years Royce S. (Butch) Klock at the Christ Lutheran Church, Little Falls. Mr. Klock predeceased her on September 9, 2000.
A warm and loving person Kathy was most happy spending time with her family and friends.
Kathy began her working career in the Housekeeping Dept. of Little Falls Hospital and later as a CNA. She then became a Ward Clerk in the Emergency Dept. and was last employed as the Surgical Coordinator for the Day Surgery Unit. She retired due to ill health in June of 2017 after 35 years of service to Little Falls Hospital.
She is survived by her three daughters and sons in law, Deborah K. Shafer and her husband Robert, Little Falls, Tammy J. Oldick and her husband Chad, Little Falls and Gail M. Coffin and her husband Jason, Poland, her brothers Raymond Warmuth, Herkimer and Daniel Warmuth, Little Falls, her beloved grandchildren LeAnne Shafer, Charles Shafer, Jared Oldick, Tyler Oldick, Erica Coffin, Hannah Coffin and Kailee Coffin, her great grandchildren, Zyon Falcon, Addison Shafer and Nolan Fellows. She was predeceased by her sister Jean M. Perry on September 14, 2006.
Graveside memorial services will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Rural Park Cemetery, Inghams Mills with the Pastor Matthew Draffen of the Canajoharie Reformed Church officiating.
Arrangements are by the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls, NY. There are no calling hours.
It is the wish of the family that contributions in memory of Kathy be considered to the American Red Cross, 125 Business Park Drive, Suite 200, Utica, NY 13502. Envelopes are also available at the funeral home for this purpose.
