Obituary of Malvin (Gary) Miller

DOLGEVILLE – Malvin (Gary) Miller, 86 of the Miner Road, Dolgeville, NY passed away Monday, August 5, 2019 at Little Falls Hospital. He was born on July 27, 1933 in Little Falls, NY the son of the late Bruno and Esther (Davis) Miller. He was a graduate of Dolgeville High School Class of 1952. On November 15, 1975 he was united in marriage to his wife of 43 years the former Mary Leann Near. Mr. Miller was a veteran of the Korean War serving with the US Navy. Entering the service on July 8, 1952 serving aboard the USS Coral Sea. He was honorably discharged on June 22, 1956. He was employed at one time by the former Winig Slipper Co., Gloversville and later as the Supervisor of Manufacturing for the former Daniel Green Co., Dolgeville retiring after 18 years of service. He is survived by his wife Mary Leann, Dolgeville, his sons, Gary Dean Miller, Clifton Park, Darrin A. Miller and his wife Gina, Little Falls and Keith Hayner, Clifton Park, his daughters Leslie Hayner and her husband Tom Chenel, Richfield Springs, Kim Losurdo and her husband Craig, Wake Forest, NC and Noreen Loiselle and her husband Jim, Saratoga Springs, 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place in Dolgeville Cemetery, Dolgeville. Arrangements are by the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls, NY. There are no calling hours.
