Obituary of Barbara J. Murray

Mrs. Barbara J. Murray, 79, formerly of Albany Street, Little Falls, New York died Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Utica. Born on June 5, 1942 in Little Falls, NY, she was the daughter of Fred G. Moshier and Florence Avery Moshier. She was educated in Little Falls Schools and was a lifelong area resident. She loved being with her family, especially her sisters. She enjoyed sitting on the porch with her sister, Joyce and shopping with her sister, "Punkey". She was predeceased by her sisters, Joyce Laventure and Joan Leon. Mrs. Murray is survived by her sons, Robert S. "Boomer" Murray, Roger McCumber, Ryan Murray; sister, Carol "Punkey" Carter; grandsons, Jeremy, Kristopher; 3 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at 9:00AM at St. Mary's Cemetery in Herkimer. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 from 5:00-7:00PM at Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls, NY 13365.
