So sorry to hear about Andy's passing. I worked with him in and around New York State government in several capacities over the years, and he was always an absolute pleasure to work with. He could make even unpleasant tasks seem like fun. He knew how to work hard, but also always understood that our obligations as human beings extend far beyond our formal jobs. He will be missed.

Jean and Family........I am so sorry to learn of the passing of Andy. Though I never knew him personally, knowing the friendly and benevolent person you to be, Jean, I'm sure your son shared your same characteristics. His lifelong accomplishments and career paths sure served for the betterment of the well-being of others, which makes his short life all the more sad and unfortunate. Hopefully the memories of the fine person Andy was and his warm smile will help in your overcoming your great loss. My caring condolences to all.........Paulette Ferraro

Dear Ms. Fogarty, Marino and Grose families, please accept my heartfelt and sincere condolences on the passing of Andy. I had the great pleasure of meeting Andy during his tenure with Department of Health and our paths have been crossing ever since. Andy was an amazing individual with great sense of humor. He was extremely professional and passionate about his work but humble and caring about impact his work and his advocacy had on individuals and families in need of heath care services in NY. Andy will be missed tremendously. May he rest in peace and may your family find solace in memories of good times you all have shared. ( Anesa Brkanovic)

We lost Andy in the prime of his Life. A terrible, unbearable loss for his Family, his collegues and his friends. It happened much too soon. But we also have much to reflect upon and Celebrate.
Andy was a good guy! His story is one of good cheer, commitment and achievement.
With the unqualified Love of his Mom, he set forth early on a course of personal and professional accomplishments.
When describing some of the best qualities a man can have we often use the phrase: "Oh, he's an eagle scout"--almost as if to say he's too good to be true. Well, Andy WAS an Eagle Scout! This is no small acheivement. (i know this because despite my 24 merit badges i never finished my final eagle project.) Andy did--and i remembered being so proud and in awe at the time. He continued those achievements professionally. He worked hard to complete his college degree and then law school .Major Life accomplishments. He then learned to navigate the labyrinth of crazy and complex state laws and regulations working in Albany. he used the expertise he gained while working in the legislature to enter the private sector. He became recognized for his knowledge and expertise in the health care industry, one of the most challenging areas of law to follow.
He was respected for his dedication to detail and excellence, and highly regarded by his colleages for his personal interactions and professional insights and expertise.
Most importantly, he was committed to his Mom and her welfare and being. Oh yes, they had classic mother-son challenges--but he was unwavering in ensuring, often quietly, that she was taken care of.
So a life that ended to soon. but one that is to be celebrated, with many proud memories....and yes, we're confident that Andy will remind the Lord to maintain his committment to full legal compliance to the health and welfare of us all.
We'll miss you Andy. We pray for you and please know we will circle the wagons for your Mom, and you would for all of us.
In our thoughts and prayers always,
Michael Marino on behalf of all the extended Marino Family

Please accept my profound condolences on the passing of Andrew. My name is David Wollner and I had the great pleasure of getting to know Andrew while we both worked in the health care area in NYS government ( NYS Department of Health) and also when Andrew was in a governmental affairs position at the Health Plan Association. Andrew was always responsible and dependable in responding to my many calls for assistance. He was extremely well versed in many complex issues and was a problem-solver. I appreciated his candor and can do outlook and his work in the health care arena helped shape not only public policy, but even more importantly enabled individuals and families afford and have access to health care.
He will be sorely missed by his friends and colleagues.
With my sympathies,
David Wollner
