Released from her well worn earth suit, Anne, in her quiet manner, most likely tried to tiptoe into heaven. Imagine her surprise when heaven’s residents, with loving joy welcomed Anne, singing of her promised reward: “ Blessed are the pure of heart, for they will see God.”
Anne’s family, friends and co workers, be reassuringly blessed by the truth of Matthew 5 verse 4 : “ Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.

I had the privilege and joy of working with Anne during her service to the Little Falls City School District. She was very professional in her duties as payroll clerk, a job that required a lot of patience and attention to detail. For fourteen years she did that job extremely well and made my job so much easier. I especially remember the softness in her voice and the twinkle in her eye. She was a wonderful woman in every sense of the word. My life was made better by knowing her. God bless her and her family. It is comforting to know she and Gil are reunited.

My sincerest sympathy to all of the family. She was a very special lady. As a friend of the family, when I visited her she was always interested in what was going on in my life and welcomed me into her home. Her kindness and gentle smile will surely be missed .

aaahhh..... spending the day on Arthur Street as a young child with my cousins and aunt. When I saw that magical closet door in the dining room open with shelves filled with all kinds of crafts, coloring books, crayons, etc.... it was like Christmas for me. and my Aunt Annie barely spoke above a whisper and had the greatest smile...!!!
Rest easy, pretty lady.... I'm positive you will be missed by many...

To the family. God has called home a beautiful lady. She was such a good friend and my copilot when we went to our monthly teacher's luncheon. We always had great conversations on our way home. She was a lovely lady and a joy to know. Please know your family is in my thoughts and prayers. RIP Ann ....Love you

To the entire Hoteling Family,
We are so sorry for your great loss. We loved your Mom, our Aunt Anne, the last of her siblings. What a kind, wonderful soul. We were so very fortunate to be able to visit, and "see" our mother Agnes' face in hers. What a blessing & gift from God that has been, since Mom died six years ago at 96. Anne was a prolific knitter, and she provided hundreds of mittens for all of Joan's kids at school, year after year, who were happy and warmed by them, and who wrote her the sweetest notes of thanks! It was always great to sit and visit with Anne, who was one of those people who was a "like thinker" regarding kids and schools and life. Always good to have that experience of visiting with like minds! Joan Barkenquast (Albert's daughter) has the most wonderful stories of her time with her aunts Anne & Agnes as a young woman. Anyone who wants to hear about Anne those many years ago would be blessed to hear her stories!
Beth, God Bless you for taking care of your Mom all this time, allowing her to stay at home. What a great gift of self that is, always being there for her. May God Bless and keep you, and his light shine on you and give you peace. Anne & Agnes will smile down on you! With our Grandmother Margaret!
