Amy and I have known each other for more than 10 years. Being involved in the dance community, we attended many performances and benefits together including Ballet Legere, Chicago Dance Institute, Maywood Fine Arts as well as Joffrey, New York City Ballet and ABT. Amy performed many years in the annual Ballet Legere's Nutcracker production. Ballet was a big part of Amy's artistic expression, as is mine. We also would have brunch on Sundays and attend wine festivals. Amy was kind, intelligent and reserved. She was a great friend to open up to just about anything.I will miss Amy dearly and hold the memories of Amy close to my heart.
