I first met Esther and her daughter Cheryl at our local McDonalds. I had brought my daycare children there for a birthday lunch. She introduced herself and I immediately felt her warmth. She, too, had a daycare group and loved children. Just a short time later, I attended First Baptist Church for the first time and she came up and greeted me. Then she introduced me to others in the church. We worked together in the Women's Ministry. She was a faithful worker. She showed her love of God in every action and deed. She was a good friend and although I will miss her terribly, she is right where she always wanted to be. . . with God and with Charlie. Until we meet again, my friend.
